Scholarship Benefits

The following ranges of GPA: 2.50–2.79 or 19–20 ACT/ 980- 1050 SAT: 6,000$; 2.80–3.19 or 21–24 ACT/1060–1190 SAT: 7,000$; 3.20–3.59 GPA or 25–28 ACT/ 1200- 1340 SAT: 11,000$; 3.60–3.99 GPA or 29–32 ACT/ 1350–1480: 16,000$; 4.00+ GPA or 33+ ACT/ 1490+SAT: 17,000$.

Eligibility Criteria

Selected candidates must meet one of two requirements in order to be eligible

  • A minimum GPA of 2.50 or an ACT score of 19–20 or a SAT score of 980–1050.

Application Procedure

Please be aware that Benedictine University requires applications to be submitted via the Common Application Portal. All candidates with undergraduate degrees will be taken into consideration.

Required Documents

The university requires the submission of the following documents

  • An approved official academic document from all high schools that were completed
  • An assessment of credits achieved abroad by Educational Credential Evaluators, Educational Perspectives, or World Education Services
  • A statement from the student’s personal representative
  • A letter of recommendation from the student’s high school Counselor.

Admission Criteria

The minimum requirements for admission includes the following:

  • A composite SAT score of 1060, a composite ACT score of 21, or a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Language Requirements

Students must submit their results from the following English competency tests: IELTS: 6.5 and TOEFL IBT: 79.
